What Makes DTF Unique?
DTF is printed directly onto a transparent film with white underbase and CMYK colors. This makes it exceptionally suitable for detailed, vibrant designs. No screen print layers needed = faster turnaround.
👉 Note: DTF is less suitable for dark polyester or technical fabrics. For those, use a Wearable, Blocker, or Low Melt Transfer instead.
Press Instructions
- Pre-press: 3–5 sec (optional)
- Press: 130–150°C – 12–15 sec
- Peel: Immediately after pressing (hot peel)
- Post-press: 2–4 sec for a smooth finish
💡 Ensure a flat surface and avoid thick seams or zippers.
Limitations of DTF
- Not suitable for nylon, sublimated fabrics, or technical textiles
- Less durable than transfers with a screen-printed underbase
